Now we are looking for a motivated candidate to assist in our campaigns across Tasmania for our union’s members.
Position Description:
The position will involve working with our Organisers in developing and rolling out new site campaigns. The position will also include campaigning to maintain and improve conditions in existing sites with a focus on recruitment at all levels.
Position expectations:
• To develop or assist in developing organising campaigns.
• Support organisers to map and analyse sites
• Assist in developing campaign materials
• Plan and track growth campaigns
• Work with regional based organisers
Desirable attributes:
• Experience within a union
• Understanding of planning within a team environment.
• Certificate IV in Unionism and Industrial Relations (Organising Works)
Essential criteria:
• Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• IT skills in MSOffice applications.
• Current drivers licence.
• Excellent organisational skills.
Position: Full Time
Location: The Position will be based in Launceston, Tasmania
